C'est un ancien model ("The D70 was replaced by the almost identical D70s in 2005. In 2006 the D80 completely obsoletes the D70s").

Ce monsieur que je respecte l'avis pense que le D70 is a good camera nikon/d70 mais a mon avis pour 1200 euro il vaut mieux acheter a newer model.

Pour l'objectif voila ce que le meme monsieur pense 16-85mm.

Generalement pour les portraits l'ideal focal length est 85-105 et le voila encore une fois notre ami Ken sur ce sujet portrait-lenses.

Bon, je l'ai eu dans les mains, et je vais le garder une semaine pour tester. Et en fait, je me suis trompé, c'est un D90 et non un D70.

Je l'ai essayé pour des photos d'intérieur et pour le moment, ça va.

Obelisks

Obelisks were cult objects originating in the Old Kingdom. They represented rays of sun. This one, of a pink granite, had a pyramid-shaped top covered with a gold and silver alloy to scatter the sun's rays. This particular obelisk had a twin, which was stolen by the French in the 1800's and placed in the Place de la Concorde, Napoleon's tomb.

The obelisk and other statues of granite most likely came from the stone quarries of Aswan. The unfinished obelisk helps us to understand just how the Egyptians carved out the stone. Apparently they jammed wooden wedges into the stone. As the wedges were soaked, they would expand and the stone would split. The men would then dig out and chisel the granite right out of the massive mountain of granite. This particular unfinished obelisk would have been 41 meters high and would have weighed 1,267 tons. But then how did they transport these enormous pieces of granite several hundred miles to Lower Egypt? Even in ancient times, the quarries were several miles from the Nile.

Luxor Obelisk, Paris

This 3,300-year-old granite obelisk punctuates the largest public square in Paris and was originally located in front of the Luxor Temple in Egypt.

Key Details:

The obelisk was first placed outside the Luxor Temple with its twin and served as the entrance to the temple complex. The other obelisk still stands in its original location.

In 1831, a French Naval engineer arranged to swap the Obelisk for a large clock that was eventually placed in the clock tower of the Mohammed Ali Mosque. The Obelisk was presented to King Charles X by Egyptian viceroy Méhémet Ali. While the gift was graciously accepted, the task of moving the 200+ ton monument presented a unique challenge. It was loaded onto a large barge and shipped to Paris via the French paddle ship “Sphinx”. After arriving in Paris in 1833, the monument was erected in the Place de la Concorde in 1836. The shiny gold cap–a ‘pyramidon’- was added in 1998. It is believed that a gold pyramidon was part of the obelisk during its original installation in Egypt but was stolen around 600 B.C. by Assyrian or Persian invaders. By adding the cap, it is believe that the obelisk has been restored nearly to its original glory.

The obelisk itself has several hieroglyph inscriptions near the top. These are believed to depict pharaoh Ramses II making offerings to Amun-Re, the ”King of the Gods”. Three additional columns of hieroglyph are shown on each of the four sides of the obelisk and denote praise of Ramses II.
