Ses expériences en Bundesliga 2 avec Saint Pauli et en Bundesliga 1 avec Stuttgart lui ont tout juste permis de cumuler de l'expérience et de s'adapter au jeu allemand. Et puis, il s'est retrouvé à Frankfurt dans un nouveau contexte, avec une tactique qui lui va et un environnement favorable, et donc il a explosé... à 25 ans!! Pour moi, c'est le genre de joueurs qui perdent leur repères en changeant de contexte. Or le saut qu'il a fait de Frankfurt dans la Bundesliga vers Man City fel PL est énorme! Il aurait dû passer par un club anglais du milieu du tableau auparavant. Ena je pense que dans les 80M€ payés par Man City, famma 20M€ qui sont la vraie valeur du joueur (et encore!) et les 60M€ restants, c'est l'effet Salah (genre nous aussi on a notre top joueur égyptien).
